Vans has been the go-to for streetwear since 1966. Gaining popularity as many of the skateboarding greats began wearing them, the rugged lace-up soon came to make up the vivid pop of colors seen on skate parks. Launching the Vans slip-ons soon after, the fandom grew, as did its connection with freestyle sports.
